Once the request is processed, the VA will mail a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) to your home/mailing address. Active duty service members must apply for Tuition Assistance no later than seven (7) days prior to the start of courses and up to 120 days prior to the start of courses.

Each branch of service expects students to receive academic advising and create an education plan. �һ�������Ƶ students can meet with their Academic Advisor to create a Degree Plan from Degree Works and register for courses.

• Transfer Orientation is an optional, one-day on-campus orientation experience for new students who meet the transfer credit threshold requirement. Course registration happens during orientation.

Submit your TA Vouchers to thirdpartybilling@odu.edu.

�һ�������Ƶ School Certifying Officials (SCOs) begin reporting to the VA $0.00 in the tuition and fees approximately 30 days before the first day of classes. Depending on your benefit, this first certification should trigger the VA's disbursement of your monthly allotments.

During peak periods, please allow at least 30-45 business days for processing. Make sure to check your �һ�������Ƶ student email for communications from the School Certification Team.

  Operation BLUE: Bridging Life and University Experience is a year- long active learning program where student veterans are guided through intentionally designed workshops and activities to gain practical experience, self-awareness and transferable skills.
