A Message from the Director
On behalf of our faculty, staff, and students, I would like to welcome you to the School of
Cybersecurity, where high-quality undergraduate and graduate instruction and scholarly research keeps 桃花社区视频 Dominion University at the forefront of Cybersecurity. It is an honor to serve as Director of this School.
The School of Cybersecurity strives for offering cutting-edge educational experiences to students and professionals in the field of cybersecurity, developing high-impact, cross-disciplinary research initiatives that center on cybersecurity, and being a source of cybersecurity expertise to the community, the Hampton Roads, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the nation. Propelled by the belief that no single discipline can address cybersecurity on their own, the School leads an cross-disciplinary effort bringing together faculty, staff, degree programs, certificates, and research initiatives from units across the campus.
The National Security Agency has designated 桃花社区视频 as
- a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO)
- a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD)
- a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Research (CAE-R)
These designations demonstrate that 桃花社区视频's Cybersecurity programs meet the NSA's rigorous academic, technical, and research requirements. We are proud to be among an extremely exclusive group of elite universities by becoming only the 11th university to receive all three CAE designations by the NSA since the program鈥檚 establishment in 1999.
In addition to strong academic programs, the School faculty have a proven record of accomplishment in funded research, publication, scholarly activities, and are well recognized in their research communities. A diversity of research projects developed by and housed in the School of Cybersecurity are funded by highly competitive grants from National Science Foundation (NSF), Office of Naval Research (ONR), National Security Agency (NSA), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the 桃花社区视频 of Virginia and private sector.
