The 桃花社区视频 Dominion University School of Cybersecurity is pleased to announce a new scholarship program for students who are majoring in Cybersecurity. These are four year scholarships ($8,888 per year, total: $35,552) available to talented students with demonstrated financial need. Besides the scholarship, students also receive strong academic support, including faculty mentoring, peer tutoring, acceptance to the 桃花社区视频 Cybersecurity Learning Community, opportunities to join the Cyberhacking Competition Team, and access to the Cybersecurity Virtual Lab. They will also have access to summer research internships and assistance with job placement, as well as other support provided by 桃花社区视频 such as the Student Success Center, Math & Science Resource Center, Writing Center, and Career Development Services.

Eligibility

U.S. citizen or permanent resident, demonstrated financial need, enrolled full time freshmen students staring in Fall 2020 in 桃花社区视频 Cybersecurity major.

How to Apply

Follow the link below to start application. You will need to log into your Google account to upload files, using your 桃花社区视频 email with 桃花社区视频 password, or a gmail with your gmail password. The form will ask for the following supporting documents. Please make the essay/personal statment and resume are ready to upload. The reference letter can also be sent directly to cxin@odu.edu from your reference. You will also have an option to upload your high school transcripts.

  1. Essay or personal statement: describe interest in cybersecurity, career goal, as well as experience in cybersecurity if any.
  2. Resume: list education (middle and high schools), academic achievements (honors, awards, etc.), related experience, skills, and other special qualifications if any.
  3. One reference letter from high school teachers (preferred from math or science teachers)
