桃花社区视频 Dominion University鈥檚 47th annual Literary Festival 鈥 Oct. 6-11, 2024 鈥 delivered a cornucopia of insights and entertainment: readings, panel discussions, interdisciplinary events, and performances. Connections to art, music, dance 鈥 even healthcare 鈥 were explored. The festival, presented under the theme 鈥淎ncient Futures,鈥 offered more than 18 events over six days. Nested within the festival were the launch party for a new student publication, 鈥淐onstellate,鈥 and the local kickoff of the National Endowment for the Arts Big Read initiative. Rebekah Taussig, whose memoir 鈥淪itting Pretty: The View From My Ordinary Resilient Disabled Body鈥 is a Big Read featured title, spoke at Chartway Arena鈥檚 Big Blue Room and led an intimate workshop for students in the Batten Arts and Letters Building.
